Tanks and Terminals,
TANK by Intergraph PP&M is a comprehensive, easy to use program for the design, analysis and evaluation of welded steel oil storage tanks, according to American Petroleum Institute (API) standards. The latest 2016 version supports the new API 620 code. As a design standard, TANK is able to analyse higher pressure tanks than API 650. Addressing customer requests to support this code, the API 620 support includes nozzle calculations, material database and insulation on roofs. TANK also includes enhanced API 650 code functionality, other calculation enhancements and stainless steel materials.
Output to .VUE files is now supported, allowing SmartPlant® Enterprise users to import TANK models quickly and easily into the SmartPlant design environment. This ability releases the CAD operator from modelling equipment, saving project time and cost.
Intergraph PP&M will be exhibiting at Booth C15 at Tank Storage Germany in November. Steve Gillott, European Sales Director, Intergraph CADWorx® Analysis will be present to discuss the new software and arrange a demonstration as required, as well as explain how the improved capabilities will offer greater confidence and flexibility for customers. Other Intergraph solutions for accurate engineering design and analysis will also be highlighted.
