Tanks and Terminals,

Engicon nv (Geldof) has announced that six of its tanks have been renovated and successfully put back into service by Team Terminal. The company said: “While five tanks have already been renovated by us and successfully put back into service by Team Terminal, a sixth one was returned in tip-top condition on Monday February 1st 2021. After filling this tank with oil earlier in the month, it is once again ready for use.”

The company continued: “But this doesn’t mean it’s time to rest on our laurels! The refurbishment of Tank 921 is still ongoing and the good news is that on 2 February 2021 we received a written order for an additional tank!

“In November 2020, we already made the doorsheet for this tank and currently, Team Terminal is performing some maintenance works on it. Once they are ready, we can start our own activities. Like the previous tanks, Tank 925 is a big boy: with a diameter of more than 73 m, we’ve got our work cut out for us. But at Geldof, we are used to thinking big and acting big; we are confident that we will also finish this new tank to the satisfaction of our customer.”
