PGNiG receives milestone LNG cargo

Polish Oil and Gas Co. has received the 100th supply of LNG at the LNG Terminal Of President Lech Kaczynski in Swinoujscie, Poland.
In total, PGNiG has imported approximately 11 billion m3 of LNG after regasification so far.
The methane carrier Al Safliya delivered approximately 90 000 t of LNG from Qatargas on Friday 3 July 2020.
“LNG imports is one of the pillars of our diversification strategy that strengthens Poland's energy security and at the same time provides us with flexible gas import portfolio. Every year more and more LNG flows into our country, and in the following years this import will grow even more significantly,” said Jerzy Kwiecinski, President of the PGNiG Management Board.
