Tanks and Terminals,
The ROSEN Group has introduced a new TBIT Ultra service for inspection of aboveground storage tanks.
Early identification and repair of time-based threats, such as corrosion, means assets can remain in service safely, for longer. This benefits the industry in terms of safety, environment, and cost.
ROSEN’s new offering, the TBIT Ultra service, enables the extension of inspection intervals for storage tanks. It comprises a state-of-the-art technology that finds, automatically quantifies, and reports defects from as small as 10% wall loss, including pitting corrosion defects.
Following the common industry standard API 653, being able to identify, and if needed repair, defects from 10% wall loss extends the timespan until the next inspection date in many cases.
The new service provides tank operators with the information they need to responsibly and efficiently manage their assets.
