LiRo Group appoints Vice President

The LiRo Group, a national project and construction management, architecture, engineering, and technology firm, has promoted Anthony Caggiano to Vice President.

Caggiano will continue to lead the storage tank and remediation group within LiRo’s Environmental Division.

Founded in 1983 and headquartered in Syosset, New York, US, LiRo operates regional offices in New York City and throughout the New York State, including in Hicksville, Mineola, Holbrook, Buffalo, and Rochester. The firm’s offices are also located in Jersey City, New Jersey; Scranton, Pennsylvania; and Stamford, Connecticut. The company employs more than 950 construction managers, engineers, architects, planners, BIM and GIS specialists, and other construction and support professionals nationwide.

Over the past 25 years, Caggiano has been instrumental in coordinating construction management and Design-Build services for 10 consecutive New York City Department of Design and Construction (NYC DDC) contracts, with a total contract value of US$192 million. These projects have encompassed work at over 800 individual sites and involved designing, installing, and testing underground storage tank (UST) and aboveground storage tank (AST) systems for gasoline, diesel motor fuel, alcohol mix motor fuel, lubrication oils, and heating oils.

Since joining LiRo in 1994, Caggiano has provided services for numerous public agencies. In addition to the NYC DDC, these included New York City’s Fire Department, Department of Sanitation, Department of Environmental Protection, Department of Parks & Recreation, Police Department, Housing Authority, and Housing Preservation and Development, as well as the Metropolitan Transportation Authority and the Nassau County Department of Public Works.
