Pond receives QP5 certification

Pond has announced that its Integrity and Corrosion Management Group (ICM) recently achieved the QP5 – Certification for Coating and Lining Inspection Companies from the Society for Protective Coatings (SSPC).
The QP5 certification has been adopted by several branches of the US military and is beginning to be adopted by other industries to ensure that QA/QC procedures are being performed to accepted standards.
The SSPC independently audits a coating and lining inspection company in the areas of personnel training, organisation, management procedures, quality control systems, internal audit and review processes complaint review and resolution policies.
The certification must be reviewed yearly by SSPC to maintain compliance.
