Fourchon LNG granted export authorisation by DOE

The US Department of Energy (DOE) has issued an order authorising Fourchon LNG LLC (Fourchon LNG) to export up to 260 billion ft3/y of LNG (0.71 billion ft3/d) by vessel from its proposed liquefaction facility to be located on Port Fourchon at Belle Pass in Lafourche Parish, Louisiana, US.
Fourchon LNG is permitted to export the LNG over a 30-year period to Free Trade Agreement (FTA) nations, and over a 20-year period to non-FTA nations.
