The works included 219 additional tank inspections: tank monitoring (37 pieces), technical condition monitoring of aluminium dome-shaped roofs at vertical steel tanks (8 pieces), condition monitoring of external and internal anticorrosive coating (96 pieces), additional defect detection (X-ray) of welds between the 3rd and the 4th belts of the tank wall (55 pieces), and other works. The survey included ultrasonic, acoustic emission and industrial radiography inspection methods.
Most of the work was performed at facilities of Transneft Druzhba (58 tanks), Transneft Western Siberia (39 tanks), Transneft Kama Region (38 tanks), Transneft Siberia (35 tanks) and Transneft Urals (29 tanks).
Moreover, starting from early 2018, Transneft Diascan has inspected 224 units of ancillary equipment for oil and petroleum product trunk pipelines, 857 units of mechanical process equipment, 141 automation and pipeline telemechanics systems. The company has inspected 52 km of pipelines and performed complete technical inspection of 6 km of oil trunk pipelines (OTPs) and PS.
The inspection was carried out by both in-house specialists of the company and subcontractors. Based on the inspection results, the facilities were rated as satisfactory, and repair schedules were made to remedy the discovered defects.
