CLH becomes Exolum

Tanks and Terminals,

The CLH group has re-branded as Exolum from now on to face its future goals focused on adapting its business to decarbonisation, the energy transition and the digitisation of its activities on the fight against climate change.

This change of brand arises from the need to adapt to the new environment and the transformation of the company itself, which, in addition to carrying out storage and transport activities of petroleum products in Spain, has become internationalised with a presence in seven other countries. The company has expanded its activity to the storage, management and transport of new liquid products, especially chemicals, and has begun to operate in new sectors, such as ecofuels, the circular economy and the development of new energy vectors.

The aim of the new brand is to show a spirit where innovation is the key. “Exolum represents what we want to be and where we are evolving: a large international company with more than 2000 employees, with a track record of almost 100 years and with a very high level of excellence in the provision of our services”, said the President of Exolum, José Luis López de Silanes.

In recent years, Exolum has undergone a series of notable changes, mainly focused on sustainable diversification, both in the geographies where it operates and in the services it offers to its clients, beyond hydrocarbon logistics. It was therefore necessary to renew the brand and align it with this new stage. "We want all these initiatives to diversify and adapt the company to the new challenges of the sector to be accompanied by a change in our corporate identity that reflects our growth and leadership," said Jorge Lanza, CEO of Exolum .“The brand has to evolve in parallel with the transformation process that we are experiencing internally, align with the new business models of the company and transmit our company values, such as innovation and trust, reflecting the open and flexible character with the that we face the future by promoting new business opportunities committed to the development and sustainability of the planet."
