Fire causes shutdown of Freeport LNG export terminal

A fire at Freeport LNG‘s natural gas liquefaction plant in South Texas, US, has led to the full shutdown of the facility. The shutdown will reduce total US LNG export capacity by approximately 2 billion ft3/d.

 
 
 

Freeport LNG provides update on incident at its liquefaction site
