Dominion Energy completes merger with Dominion Energy Midstream

Dominion Energy Inc. and Dominion Energy Midstream Partners LP have announced that they have completed their proposed merger pursuant to the definitive merger agreement announced on 26 November 2018.

The merger resulted in Dominion Energy acquiring all the outstanding public common units of Dominion Energy Midstream Partners in exchange for Dominion Energy common shares and Dominion Energy Midstream Partners becoming an indirect, wholly owned subsidiary of Dominion Energy.

EU combined gas and LNG imports fall due to reduced demand

The European Union (EU) measures to reduce gas demand have driven a decline in the bloc’s combined imports of pipeline gas and LNG, helping to ensure its energy security, according to a new data tracking tool published today by the Institute for Energy Economics and Financial Analysis (IEEFA).
