Tanks and Terminals,

On 27 January 2019, PGNiG Polish Oil and Gas Co. will receive a load of LNG, marking the 50th delivery to the President Lech Kaczynski LNG Terminal in Swinoujscie.

The total LNG volume purchased so far by PGNiG will amount to approximately 5.7 billion m3 after regasification.

The carrier, Iberica Knutsen, is transporting approximately 57 000 t of LNG from the Sabine Pass terminal in the US. It equals about 75 million m3 of natural gas following regasification – which is the amount Poland consumes in four days in summer or one day in winter. The cargo was purchased as part of a spot transaction from Naturgy (formerly Gas Natural Fenosa).
