Tanks and Terminals,
Stolthaven Terminals has proudly announced the official opening of its new jetty at the Dagenham, UK terminal. The occasion was celebrated with a special opening ceremony, attended by esteemed guests, project partners, as well as current and former colleagues.
In line with its safety protocol, the new jetty was closed briefly for the ribbon cutting to allow guests to view close-up the impressive new structure, which will improve discharge rates and turnaround times for vessels, provide new and upgraded infrastructure, enhance safety and reduce environmental impact and, ultimately, deliver a superior service to customers.
Stolthaven Terminals President Guy Bessant said: "The ceremony marked another milestone in the redevelopment of Stolthaven Dagenham. Over the past decade, we have invested significantly in upgrading existing infrastructure and building new assets. The jetty was by far one of the most challenging projects and I am especially proud of the way in which the Stolthaven team worked together with our partners to build this new jetty around the existing one while we continued operations for our customers."
