Braskem Idesa has signed an investment agreement with Advario for a joint 50% stake in the construction and operation of an ethane import terminal in Mexico – the Puerto Mexico Chemical Terminal.
On 8 June 2022, an incident occurred at the Freeport LNG liquefaction plant on Quintana Island, Texas, US, that resulted in the release of LNG, leading to the formation and ignition of a natural gas vapour cloud, and subsequent fire.
