LBC Tank Terminals Group joins EEMUA

The Engineering Equipment and Materials Users Association (EEMUA) has welcomed LBC Tank Terminals Group BV into membership.

LBC Tank Terminals is a top-tier global independent operator of bulk liquid storage facilities for chemicals, oils and refined petroleum products. Headquartered in The Netherlands, LBC owns and operates a global network of terminals located in Europe and the US.

EEMUA’s Chief Executive, Stefan Kukula, commented: “EEMUA and LBC Tank Terminals have well aligned objectives in terms of safety, the environment and operating performance. The sharing of good practice across different industries and global regions afforded by engagement in EEMUA will help support LBC in the safe operation of its industrial assets as it continues to invest in sustainable liquid bulk infrastructure.”

EEMUA is an international membership body for companies that own and/or operate industrial facilities or that are significant purchasers or users of engineering equipment and materials. It is widely recognised as a source of expertise and information for the engineering industry with a cross sector, cross industry approach.

EU combined gas and LNG imports fall due to reduced demand

The European Union (EU) measures to reduce gas demand have driven a decline in the bloc’s combined imports of pipeline gas and LNG, helping to ensure its energy security, according to a new data tracking tool published today by the Institute for Energy Economics and Financial Analysis (IEEFA).
