ClassNK has issued an Approval in Principle (AiP) for an Ammonia Floating Storage and Regasification Unit (FSRU) jointly developed by Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, Ltd. (MOL) and Mitsubishi Shipbuilding Co., Ltd.
Following completion of the commissioning phase, Tango FLNG will produce its first LNG cargo by 1Q24, placing the Republic of Congo on the list of LNG-producing countries.
