OCI Global completes sale of OCI Ammonia Holding to AGROFERT

OCI Global have announced the completion of the sale of 100% of its equity interests in OCI Ammonia Holding B.V. to AGROFERT, a.s., a significant European nitrogen products manufacturer.

The transaction was valued at €290 million. Net proceeds will be subject to customary closing adjustments. OCI AH owns both OCI Terminal Europoort B.V. (OTE) – OCI’s ammonia import and storage terminal in Rotterdam – and OCI Ammonia Distribution B.V. (OAD). OCI Nitrogen (OCIN) – OCI’s production facility in Geleen – will continue to have access to OTE via a throughput agreement, ensuring ammonia sourcing flexibility.
