Tanks and Terminals,
Framo has announced that it has received a contract to deliver sea water lift pumps for GasLog’s potential floating storage regasification unit (FSRU) at the Samsung Heavy Industries shipyard in South Korea.
The order was placed shortly after Framo signed a supply agreement for similar pump systems for an FSRU under construction at the same Korean yard for shipowner Høegh LNG.
Thorbjørn Vågenes, Director Oil and Gas pumping systems at Framo, said: “This represents acknowledgement of our ultra-compact pump concept that is now gaining a solid position on the FSRU market.”
Delivery of the pump systems is scheduled for August 2018.
