Tanks and Terminals,
ERGIL, a company specialising in storage tanks and process equipment, has announced the award of a significant new project involving the supply of advanced storage solutions for a major early production facility (EPF).
Under the terms of this contract, ERGIL will design and manufacture six high-capacity vertical atmospheric storage tanks, each with a substantial capacity of 500 bbl, engineered according to API 12F standards. These tanks, featuring dimensions of 3658 mm in diameter and 7490 mm in height. They are designed to safely operate under pressures up to 69 mbarg and temperatures ranging from -5°C to +90°C, ensuring durability and operational reliability. ERGIL will deliver these storage tanks within an expedited time frame, demonstrating efficiency and agility in meeting urgent operational requirements.
ERGIL's scope of supply includes detailed finite element analyses (FEA) to verify the structural integrity of lifting trunnions, tailing lugs, and transportation skids, as well as the provision of essential components such as gauge hatches and emergency relief valves. Each tank will also undergo internal and external coating, inspection, and testing processes, complemented by stringent weight certification.
ERGIL Sales Manager expressed enthusiasm about this strategic collaboration: “This project highlights ERGIL’s strong capabilities and commitment to manufacturing excellence according to API 12F standards. We are proud to deliver reliable and superior-performance storage solutions, supporting critical operations in demanding environments.”
ERGIL guarantees continuous technical support throughout the project lifecycle, from manufacturing to post-delivery, ensuring seamless operational performance.
