Tanks and Terminals,
This appointment marks an important milestone in Singapore’s plan to build a cleaner and more sustainable energy future.
As the consortium’s storage partner, Advario brings expertise in cryogenic storage to ensure the safe and efficient handling of ammonia. The project reflects the commitment to Singapore’s decarbonisation agenda, especially in power generation and maritime bunkering. It also aligns with the broader strategy to advance sustainable energy solutions.
Ammonia is emerging as a promising fuel of the future. It does not produce carbon dioxide when combusted and is relatively easy to store and transport. These qualities make it a strong candidate for decarbonising sectors such as power generation and shipping. When produced from renewable energy, green ammonia can play a key role in reaching net-zero emissions while also supporting global energy security.
