Mabanaft Group to change company names into MB Energy

After more than 75 years of company history, the Mabanaft group is repositioning itself.

Through a comprehensive rebranding, the group of companies emphasises its transformation into a future-oriented energy provider, placing an even greater focus on customer orientation, innovations for the energy transition, and progress at the core of its business.

The Mabanaft group has been successfully operating under more than 50 different brands for many years and will now unify all individual brands under the MB Energy logo, including the brand 'Oiltanking Germany, Hungary and Denmark' as 'enport – by MB Energy'. The group is coming together and evolving into an even stronger, customer-focused provider of energy solutions for today and tomorrow. The new brand identity reflects this transformation and highlights the company’s core competencies: reliable and forward-looking energy supply with tailored solutions for both retail and business customers, as well as decentralised storage solutions.

Decentralised energy supply plays a crucial role in the energy transition and energy security. Through the storage systems of Oiltanking Deutschland GmbH & Co. KG operating under the new brand enport - by MB Energy** and its extensive experience in energy and fuel trading, MB Energy group ensures stable energy supply and distribution. In doing so, the group of companies actively contributes to energy security and supports industries, businesses, and households with tailored energy solutions, including forward-looking, lower-carbon options.

Rising player in the energy sector

With its new brand identity, MB Energy group positions itself as a rising player in the energy sector, combining tradition with innovation. The company group remains true to its Hanseatic roots while embracing cutting-edge technologies to pave the way for the future.

MB Energy will present itself with a new logo, fresh design, and a clear vision for the future. The new brand identity will be reflected across all communication channels, emphasising the company’s commitment to secure and sustainable energy supply worldwide.

Within the corporate group, the brands Oiltanking Deutschland, Hungary, and Denmark will use the brand 'enport – by MB Energy' and the entities will be renamed accordingly.

In the next phase of the rebranding, the company WESTFA and the individual companies within the Petronord Group, will follow accordingly to the new brand MB Energy.
