Carboline acquires Strathmore and American Coatings brands

The American Coatings brand, which was acquired by Strathmore in 2014, has provided interior and exterior coatings to industrial manufacturers, contractors and tank owners for over 30 years.
Strathmore was founded in 1942 and provides coatings solutions to customers in the oil and gas industry as well as other industries.
Strathmore will remain a stand-alone brand within Carboline. Customers can expect a greater number of distribution points, a large direct sales team, worldwide manufacturing capabilities and advanced R&D facilities.
