Tepsa has announced a new storage terminal for bulk liquids in Andalusia, Spain.
The new terminal is designed to handle a wide variety of bulk liquids – including chemical products, biofuels, and renewable materials. Located in Huelva, Spain, this project seeks to foster sustainable growth, support renewable energy, and contribute to the circular economy.
Huelva offers robust industrial infrastructure and is a growing area for renewable energy. As one of Spain’s leading ports, it serves as a vital hub for the movement of bulk liquids, including chemicals, biofuels, and other sustainable commodities.
By establishing a presence here, Tepsa is aligning with the region’s drive for environmental stewardship. This terminal, the company’s first in Andalusia, will help meet the growing demand for cleaner energy solutions while creating economic opportunities in the region.
The terminal aims to offer a capacity of 65 000 m3 for chemical products and biofuels with tanks ranging from 700 – 4400 m3, alongside infrastructure for loading and unloading products by vessel, truck, and train. The company also plan to reserve land for new energy products. Tepsa is committed to operating responsibly and ensuring sustainability through both air and water quality management, soil protection, and minimising noise and light pollution.
